I use a strategic approach, focused on your business goals and incorporating user-centered design, to help website and intranet users succeed at key tasks. I’ve worked in a range of business environments across many industries.
I’m a principal with MSB Associates, a consulting group experienced in strategy, design, and implementation for secure, scalable software, user experience, social media, and content architecture. I’m a member of Editcetera, an association of freelance publishing professionals, and an associate with High Tech Connect. View my LinkedIn profile at linkedin.com/in/catedeheer.
I’ve worked on staff in the user experience groups at Intuit and World Savings; as a technical editor at Levine-Fricke Engineers; and in the college division of Random House/McGraw-Hill, as a project editor for foreign language and biology textbooks. Professional affiliations include BayCHI, the Bay Area Editors’ Forum, and the Pacific Center for the Book Arts. I hold a bachelor of arts in French language from UC Davis and studied at the Université de Poitiers in France.
I occasionally post thoughts on content strategy on the Dutchgirl blog.
