So This Is What Losing You Is Like

I should have known

the leaves have changed, they’re pretty and they die

the wind is strange, pushing clouds across the sky

I should have known

I should have seen

the way you looked, some other shine got in your eyes

the way you took to silence, took to lies

I should have seen

So this is what losing you

this is what losing you

this is what losing you is like

I should have been

a better man, carefree, quick to cry

to lend a hand, to grow into the guy

I should have been

So this is what losing you

this is what losing you

this is what losing you is like
