Trail Boss

When you can’t find your way

and you’re lonely and lost

at the end of the day

I’m your Trail Boss

Once you hit the Mississippi

and you can’t get across

don’t try to get trippy

call the Trail Boss

When you ain’t got a clue

all your profits are lost

I can help you get through

I’m the Trail Boss

When you’re shit out of luck

and you’re still on the sauce

you got hit by a truck

time for the Trail Boss

When you’re cold and you shiver

and you’re feeling the frost

and you fell in the river

you need the Trail Boss

When you’re feeble and faint

and you’re ready to toss

you can lodge a complaint

with the Trail Boss

When your last word is spoken

and your signals are crossed

and you’re beaten and broken

call the Trail Boss
